About Delys

As the daughter of an artist, I grew up with pastels in one hand and brushes in the other. I look at most things in my life with an eye for color, composition and the overall impact of how visuals make me feel. I made my career as a graphic designer but have always stayed close to my fine art roots.
This site has my most recent work. As you review, keep in mind that when I create an oil on canvas I always wrap the image around the edge so it can be hung as is, without a frame. Because I produce a good amount of art, with a limited budget, the cost of framing can be more expensive than the original art, sad but true. Many of these pieces are for sale and the prices are marked. For the reasons mentioned, framed pieces are more than unframed work. Pastels are more delicate than oil so I like to mat and frame these works When ever I can.
Enjoy the site, let me know what you think and if you see something you like, or if with small changes, a piece could work for you, please consider buying original art from it’s source, the artist.
